We are a growing Chicago-based trucking company looking for an experienced and motivated Fleet Coordinator to join our team.
Requirements:
CDL License required
Minimum 6 months of trucking industry experience (1+ year preferred)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently
Knowledge of fleet operations, truck maintenance, and driver support
Basic computer skills and ability to work with transportation software
Responsibilities:
Communicate daily with drivers and provide operational support
Monitor fleet performance and equipment status
Coordinate truck and trailer maintenance and repairs
Track registrations, permits, and fleet documentation
Assist with roadside breakdowns and emergency situations
Work closely with Dispatch, Safety, and Maintenance departments
