Accounting Assistant (Overseas) – Key Responsibilities:
– Review and verify load confirmations in our transportation system-Alvys
– Process loads from complete POD upload through broker billing
– Maintain broker load billing spreadsheet
– Update broker and truck owner information (banking, emails) when needed
– Prepare and distribute weekly driver/owner statements
– Adjust load rates via detention/layover/lumper reimbursements
– Enter reimbursements, deductions, and credits on driver statements
– Pro-rate insurance, ELD, and trailer rent charges as needed
– Process tolls payments and charge appropriate parties
– Run and manage Wex Fleet One fuel reports (weekly and monthly)
– Update weekly payroll spreadsheet
– Respond to driver inquiries and escalate when necessary
– Resolve load discrepancies and payment issues with factoring company and brokers,
when necessary
– Proficiency in Excel
