HIRING FLEET MANAGER WITH CDL

We are looking for fleet manager that will be responsible for ensuring all trucks are compliant, safe, and road-ready. This role involves working directly with repair shops, assisting drivers with maintenance and road issues, conducting inspections, and supporting new drivers with truck orientation.

Qualifications:
– Prior experience in fleet management or trucking operations required
-Valid CDL required
– Knowledge of truck maintenance and basic mechanical systems strongly preferred
– Understanding of DOT compliance and safety standards
– Ability to respond quickly to road service situations
– Excellent communication skills
– Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and visit repair shops to oversee maintenance and repair work
– Assist drivers with maintenance concerns and road call situations
– Ensure all available trucks are DOT compliant, safe, and ready for dispatch
– Conduct inbound and outbound truck inspections
– Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and follow up on repairs
– Assist new drivers with truck assignments and provide equipment orientation
– Maintain accurate maintenance records
