SLVWZ is hiring Safety Assistant and Fleet coordinator, location: Elgin, IL

Fleet coordinator:

We are a growing Chicago-based trucking company looking for an experienced and motivated Fleet Coordinator to join our team.

Requirements:
– CDL License required Minimum 6 months of trucking industry experience (1+ year preferred)
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently
– Knowledge of fleet operations, truck maintenance, and driver support
– Basic computer skills and ability to work with transportation software

Responsibilities:
– Communicate daily with drivers and provide operational support
– Monitor fleet performance and equipment status
– Coordinate truck and trailer maintenance and repairs
– Track registrations, permits, and fleet documentation
– Assist with roadside breakdowns and emergency situations
– Work closely with Dispatch, Safety, and Maintenance departments
