KCC Consulting Inc. is a fast-growing safety consulting company providing full-service safety support to transportation companies across the U.S. We are expanding our Chicago team and hiring motivated and detail-oriented professionals for the following positions:
– Safety Assistant
– Safety Manager
Safety Assistant You will support the Safety Department in day-to-day compliance operations, hiring, and documentation management. This position is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills who want to grow their career in U.S. trucking safety.
Responsibilities:– Conduct pre-employment screenings for drivers.
– Generate and review MVR, PSP, and Clearinghouse reports.
– Schedule drug tests and collect required documentation.
– Support onboarding, hiring files, and permit processing.
– Collaborate with the Recruitment and Compliance teams.
Requirements:– Excellent English communication skills.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
– Previous experience in the trucking industry is a plus (training provided).
– 6 months–1 year of experience preferred.
Safety Manager You will lead safety operations and support client compliance programs, ensuring high standards across all processes.
Responsibilities:– Supervise and guide the Safety team (assistants/specialists).
– Oversee safety compliance, onboarding, and audit preparation.
– Monitor FMCSA, DOT, and state regulations.
– Lead accident investigations and client communication.
– Implement KPIs and performance tracking for safety operations.
Requirements:- 5+ years of experience in U.S. trucking safety and compliance.
– 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
– Strong knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations.
– Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office; safety software experience is a plus.
