At TAG Trans, we pride ourselves on being a fast-growing, forward-thinking transportation company with a commitment to safety, service, and driver satisfaction. We are seeking a highly motivated Safety Director to lead and improve our safety and compliance program across our expanding fleet.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee all safety, compliance, and risk management policies and procedures
– Ensure full compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations, OSHA, and company standards
– Develop and manage training programs for drivers and staff
– Investigate accidents, incidents, and violations and implement corrective actions
– Maintain accurate records for audits, inspections, and internal reporting
– Lead a team of safety personnel and collaborate with dispatch, HR, and operations
– Monitor and analyze safety data and trends to proactively reduce risk
– Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory agencies
Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in a safety or compliance leadership role within trucking/transportation
– Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
– Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
– Experience with safety software and ELD systems is a plus
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $70,055.00 – $103,684.00 per year
