We are hiring an experienced Parts Specialist for a busy semi-truck repair shop. This is not an entry-level position. Experience is necessery
Responsibilities:
Order parts for semi trucks and trailers accurately and efficiently
Work with vendors on pricing, availability, and delivery times
Receive, verify, and organize incoming parts
Create and process parts invoices tied to work orders
Maintain accurate inventory records
Communicate with mechanics to prevent downtime
Handle returns, warranties, and core charges
Requirements (Must Have):
Proven experience as a parts person in a semi-truck or diesel repair shop
Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and suppliers
Experience with invoicing and shop management systems
Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Competitive, based on experience
